After 25 years co-owning and operating Good Stuff Restaurants, Carolyn Smith followed her lifelong passion for health and wellness into a new chapter and founded Age with Vitality, a boutique Pilates studio in Torrance. Her mission is simple yet powerful: to help people move with strength, balance, and confidence at every stage of life.

Her mission is simple yet powerful: to help people move with strength, balance, and confidence at every stage of life.
Certified through the BASI Comprehensive Teacher Training Program (CTTP), Carolyn also holds advanced certifications in BASI Pilates for Pregnancy and BASI Pilates for Injuries & Pathologies. Her education and experience shape a thoughtful, personalized teaching style that meets each client exactly where they are and supporting them in building resilience, awareness, and vitality through movement.
At Age with Vitality, Carolyn has created a calm, uplifting environment equipped with state-of-the-art BASI Systems apparatus. She offers private, semi-private, and small-group sessions, emphasizing precision, mindful control, and connection between body and mind. Each session is designed to leave clients feeling stronger, more balanced, and deeply rejuvenated.
Carolyn’s journey from the restaurant world to the fitness community reflects her belief in the transformative power of movement and self-care. Through her studio, she combines her entrepreneurial drive with a genuine passion for helping others live well and age with vitality.
Outside the studio, Carolyn loves playing tennis, hiking, soaking up beach days, and spending cherished time with her family and adorable grandchildren.
